NTC Aquatics Swimmers Prepare to Compete on the World Stage

Two NTC swimmers have earned the opportunity to compete against some of the world’s best swimmers in July and August.

Ines Remersaro has qualified for the Pan American Games in Toronto, CANADA, in both the 100 & 200 meter backstroke events. She will represent her native country of Uruguay. The 200 Backstroke will be swum on Wednesday, July 15th and the 100 Backstroke on Friday, July 17th. Follow the results live at through ESPN.  

Remersaro will return to the National Training Center after Pan Ams to prepare for the 2015 FINA World Championships held in Kazan, RUSSIA, in the same individual events. Her 100 Backstroke will take place on Monday, August 3rd, and her 200 on Friday, August 7th. Prior to her departing for her international competitions, she recently broke her own Uruguay National Record in the 100 meter Freestyle at the NTC/Karen Hohne Invitational on June 27th in Clermont at the National Training Center.

Daniel Ramirez will represent MEXICO at the 2015 FINA World Championships in Kazan, RUSSIA, competing in the 50 and 100 Butterfly, 50 and 100 Backstroke, and 100 Freestyle events.

In addition to Ines’ and Daniel’s high level accomplishments, David Lambert qualified for the 2016 USA Olympic Swimming Trials in Omaha, Nebraska next summer in the 50 meter Freestyle.
